The Healing Guitar Program
The Healing Guitar program makes Classical guitar performances accessible by the most vulnerable of Monterey County members. Through this program, Carmel Guitar Society brings solo performers into local care and senior living communities for the purpose of therapeutic listening and fostering community around live guitar music.
Mission | The Healing Guitar
Carmel Guitar Society seeks to foster healing and gathering through live classical guitar performance. Accessibility by all is first and foremost. All members of the local community on the Monterey Bay should be able to enjoy classical guitar performance. The Healing Guitar program is one initiative that realizes this mission.
Vision | The Healing Guitar
To reach all members of the Monterey County area who reside in care facilities or senior living communities and could not otherwise access live performances. This program is only made possible by generous donors.
