Carmel Guitar Society Classical Guitar Retreat at Asilomar means four days of music, Learning, and Inspiration on the Monterey Peninsula
Building on success of our inaugural retreat, the 2026 program has been thoughtfully expanded and refined based on participant feedback. This year’s retreat offers an enhanced schedule designed to support meaningful learning, artistic growth, and connection among guitarists of all levels. Study and play alongside fellow enthusiasts, dedicated students, and professional performers while learning from internationally acclaimed artists Alan Mearns and Hao Yang. Through masterclasses, ensemble sessions, lectures, and optional private lessons, you will gain insight, inspiration, and practical tools to deepen your musicianship.
