The Monterey County Gives! campaign continues through December 31, and we are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support we’ve received so far.
Thanks to you, our first year participating in MC Gives! has been a wonderful success. As we head into the final stretch of the campaign, we invite you to take a look at our progress and consider sharing our page with friends and family before the year ends. Every share and every contribution makes a meaningful difference.
Why Your Support Matters
Donations received through Monterey County Gives! directly support the Carmel Guitar Society’s 2026 concert season, which is already beginning to take shape. We look forward to announcing dates and artists in early 2026. Your generosity helps ensure that classical guitar continues to thrive in our community.
Over the past two years, the Carmel Guitar Society has continued to grow its impact across Monterey County through these core programs:
One of our longest-running programs, Healing Guitar brings live classical guitar performances to seniors and care facilities throughout the county. This meaningful program exists entirely because of donor support and continues to touch lives through music.
Our concert series connects local audiences with world-class classical guitar performances. While ticket sales help sustain these events, donor contributions provide the stability needed to plan a reliable, high-quality season and expand access for students, seniors, and those facing financial barriers.
Launched in June 2025, the Classical Guitar Retreat brings together education, performance, and community at Asilomar Resort. We’re gathering again in 2026, more details to come in January.

Save the Date: June 17–20, 2026
Be sure you’re subscribed to our emails for retreat announcements, special pricing, and early access.

Help Us Finish Strong
As the year comes to a close, we invite you to spread the word about the Carmel Guitar Society and our programs. With your help, we are making classical guitar a vital part of the Monterey Bay’s cultural landscape, one performance, one connection, and one shared experience at a time.
The Monterey County Gives! campaign ends December 31.Thank you for being part of our journey.
Happy Holidays, The Carmel Guitar Society All-Volunteer Board of Directors
